Theme Park World

Theme Park World, diğer adıyla Theme Park 2 ve Kuzey Amerika'daki adıyla Sim Theme Park, Bullfrog Productions tarafından geliştirilen ve Electronic Arts tarafından 1999 yılında piyasaya sürülen bir inşa ve yönetim simülasyon oyunudur. Theme Park'ın doğrudan devamı niteliğinde olan (Theme Hospital ve Theme Aquarium tematik devam oyunlarıdır) bu yapımda oyuncu, kâr elde etmek ve ziyaretçileri mutlu etmek amacıyla bir eğlence parkı inşa edip yönetir. Başlangıçta Windows için geliştirilen oyun, daha sonra PlayStation ve PlayStation 2'ye (Kuzey Amerika'da Theme Park Roller Coaster adıyla) ve Macintosh bilgisayarlara taşınmıştır. Mac sürümü Feral Interactive tarafından yayınlanmıştır. Oyun, Bullfrog personelinin orijinal Theme Park'ı güncel hale getirme isteği üzerine geliştirilmiştir. Theme Park World, dört farklı eğlence parkı teması, oyuncuların atraksiyonlara binebilme özelliği ve parklarını paylaşmalarını sağlayan çevrimiçi bir hizmet sunar. Eleştirmenler ses ve görselleri övse de arayüz konusunda bazı eleştirilerde bulunmuş, genel olarak olumlu geri dönüşler almıştır. Oyunun ardından 2001 yılında Theme Park Inc (diğer adıyla Sim Coaster) piyasaya sürülmüştür.

Theme Park World, also known as Theme Park 2, and in North America as Sim Theme Park, is a 1999 construction and management simulation game developed by Bullfrog Productions and released by Electronic Arts. The direct sequel to Theme Park (Theme Hospital and Theme Aquarium are thematic sequels), the player constructs and manages an amusement park with the aim of making profit and keeping visitors happy. Initially developed for Windows, it was ported to PlayStation and PlayStation 2 (whose version was titled Theme Park Roller Coaster in North America), as well for Macintosh computers. The Mac version was published by Feral Interactive. The game was developed because personnel at Bullfrog wanted to bring the original Theme Park up-to-date. Theme Park World features four themes of amusement park, the ability to ride attractions, and an online service that enabled players to share parks. Reception was mostly positive, with reviewers complimenting the sound and visuals, although some were critical of the interface. The game was followed by Theme Park Inc (also known as Sim Coaster) in 2001.
