Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo

Japonya'da Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Japonca: スーパーパズルファイターII X) adıyla piyasaya sürülen Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, ilk kez 1996 yılında Capcom'un Capcom Coin-Op bölümü tarafından CPS II arcade sistemi için çıkarılmış, tek veya iki kişilik bir taş eşleştirme bulmaca video oyunudur. O dönemde başka bir Puzzle Fighter oyunu bulunmadığı için oyunun ismi Super Street Fighter II Turbo'nun bir parodisidir; ayrıca oyun, Street Fighter Alpha ve Darkstalkers oyunlarıyla dalga geçen müzikler ve arayüz öğeleri içermektedir. Bu oyun, o dönem Japon arcade piyasasını kasıp kavuran Sega'nın Puyo Puyo 2 oyununa bir yanıt niteliğindeydi. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix adlı bir HD-remake sürümü, Microsoft'un Xbox Live Arcade ve Sony'nin PlayStation Network platformlarında mevcuttur. Oyunun bir devamı olan Puzzle Fighter ise 2017 yılında mobil cihazlar için piyasaya sürülmüştür.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, released in Japan as Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Japanese: スーパーパズルファイターII X), is a one or two player tile-matching puzzle video game first released in the 1996 by the Capcom Coin-Op division of Capcom on the CPS II arcade system. The game's title is a parody of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, as there were no other Puzzle Fighter games at the time, and the game includes music and interface elements spoofing the Street Fighter Alpha and Darkstalkers games. It was a response to Sega's Puyo Puyo 2 that had been sweeping the Japanese arcade scene. A HD-remake version titled Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, is available on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade and Sony's PlayStation Network. A successor, Puzzle Fighter, was released for mobile devices in 2017.
