Shin Megami Tensei If..., 1994 yılında Atlus tarafından Super Famicom için geliştirilen ve yayımlanan bir Japon rol yapma oyunudur (JRPG). Oyun, daha geniş bir Megami Tensei serisinin parçası olan Shin Megami Tensei serisinin bir yan ürünüdür (spin-off). Çıkışından bu yana mobil cihazlara, PlayStation'a ve Microsoft Windows'a taşınmış; ayrıca Nintendo'nun Virtual Console hizmeti aracılığıyla dijital olarak yeniden yayımlanmıştır. Hikâye, intikamcı bir öğrencinin iblis çağırma büyüsünün ters gitmesi sonucu okullarının iblisler diyarına çekilmesinin ardından Karukozaka Lisesi'ndeki bir öğrenciyi konu almaktadır. Shin Megami Tensei If..., önceki Shin Megami Tensei oyunlarından farklı bir yaklaşım benimsenerek, önceki oyunlardaki geniş ölçekli ortamlar yerine daha küçük ölçekli bir çevre ve tehdide odaklanacak şekilde geliştirilmiştir. Çıktığında eleştirmenlerden ve hayranlardan olumlu yorumlar alan If..., birçok yan ürün basılı uyarlamaya ve bir mobil ön bölüme (prequel) ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Oyunun çok beğenilen lise teması, spin-off niteliğindeki Persona serisinin yaratılmasının temelini oluşturmuştur.

Shin Megami Tensei If... is a Japanese role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus in 1994 for the Super Famicom. It is a spin-off from the Shin Megami Tensei series, itself part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. Since release, it has been ported to mobile devices, the PlayStation and Microsoft Windows, and re-released digitally through Nintendo's Virtual Console service. The story follows a student of Karukozaka High School after their school is sucked into the realm of demons by a vengeful student's demon summoning spell going wrong. Shin Megami Tensei If... was developed as a change from previous Shin Megami Tensei titles, focusing on a small-scale environment and threat rather than a large-scale environment as in previous titles. Upon release, If... received a positive reception from critics and fans, and inspired multiple tie-in print adaptations and a mobile prequel. Its well-received high school setting was the impetus for the creation of the spin-off Persona series.
