Polarity, Portal geleneğini sürdüren birinci şahıs bir bulmaca oyunudur ve benzer görsel tarzı, Valve'ın oyununa doğrudan bir saygı duruşu niteliğindedir. Oyuncu, 15 seviyeden oluşan hikaye modunu tek başına veya bir arkadaşıyla birlikte tamamlamak zorundadır.
