Oyun, Orcs Must Die! oyununun ilk bölümündeki olaylardan birkaç gün sonrasını konu alıyor. Sorceress, kalabalıktan kaçmaya çalışmaktadır. Aniden ve gizemli bir şekilde, yanında devasa bir yarık açılır. Eşiği geçer ve kendini, şu anda madenlerde çalışan bir War Mage'in tam önünde, Dwarven Mines'ta bulur. Orc'lara karşı savaşta ondan yardım ister. Ancak ikili, farklı yerlerde giderek daha fazla çatlağın açıldığını keşfeder. Rift'e girip Dead World'e geri dönmeye karar verirler.

The game takes place a few days after the events of the first part of Orcs must die!. The Sorceress is trying to escape from the crowd. And suddenly, mysteriously, a massive split opens up next to her. She crosses the threshold and finds herself in the Dwarven Mines, right in front of a War Mage who now works at the mines. She enlists his help in the fight against the orcs. But the two discovered that more and more cracks are opening up in different places. They decide to enter the rift and return to the Dead World.
