In the Hunt (海底大戦争, Kaitei Daisensou), Irem tarafından geliştirilen yatay kaydırmalı bir arcade shooter oyunudur. 1993 yılında piyasaya sürülmüş, daha sonra Kokopeli tarafından Sega Saturn, PlayStation ve PC için Windows 95 platformlarına taşınmıştır. Bir Super NES versiyonu geliştirilme aşamasındaydı ve bir Consumer Electronics Show etkinliğinde oynanabilir bir sürümü gösterilmişti ancak bu sürüm hiçbir zaman tamamlanmadı. Oyuncu, su altı ortamlarında bir denizaltıyı kontrol eder. Oyunda toplam altı bölüm bulunmaktadır. Oyun, daha sonra Irem için GunForce 2'yi ve SNK için Metal Slug serisini yaratacak olan ekip tarafından geliştirilmiştir.

In the Hunt (海底大戦争, Kaitei Daisensou) is a horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game by Irem. It was released in 1993 and later published to the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation and Windows 95 for the PC by Kokopeli. A Super NES version was in development, with a playable version appearing at a Consumer Electronics Show, but it was never completed. The player takes the role of a submarine in underwater environments. There are a total of six levels in the game.
The game was developed by the team who would go on to create GunForce 2 for Irem and the Metal Slug series for SNK.
