Blackguards, The Dark Eye adlı masaüstü rol yapma oyununa dayanan ve devam oyunu Blackguards 2 ile süren taktiksel bir RPG'dir. Oyunun ana karakteri, bir prensesi öldürmekle suçlanır. Masumiyetini kanıtlamak için bir maceraya atılır ve cinayeti araştırmaya başlar. Bir cüce ve bir büyücü eşliğinde, düşman sürülerini yararak gerçeğe giden yolu açar.

Blackguards is a tactical RPG based on pen and paper game The Dark Eye and followed by the sequel, Blackguards 2. The protagonist of the game is blamed for killing a princess. To prove his innocence he starts an adventure and investigates the murder. Accompanied by a dwarf and a mage, he slashes the way to the truth through hordes of enemies.
