В тылу врага 2: Братья по оружию, Faces of War için bağımsız bir ek paket olup SSCB için yeni bir hikâye seferi sunmaktadır. Bu ek paket bizzat Best Way tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Oyuncuların istekleri doğrultusunda iyileştirilmiş bir arayüz, çatışmanın farklı tarafları için ek görevler, güncellenmiş çok oyunculu teknolojisi, yeni çok oyunculu modları ve haritaları bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca yazarlar, ateş etme ve patlama seslerini güncelleyerek gerçeğe uygun hale getirmişlerdir.

В тылу врага 2: Братья по оружию a standalone addition to Faces of War offers a new story campaign for the USSR. The add-on was developed by Best Way themselves. There is an interface improved in accordance with the wishes of the players, additional missions for different sides of the conflict, updated multiplayer technology, new multiplayer modes and maps. In addition, the authors updated and brought the sounds of shooting and explosions into line with reality.
