The player follows the story of an NYPD detective, tasked with resolving crimes and answering many questions of its predecessor’s story. The game’s physics engine allows the players to experience the most fearsome battles hand-to-hand, with the realistic destruction of surroundings, cinematographic kills, and dramatic deaths. Max Payne 2 also features a game editor, with user-created modifications serving as a tool to further enhance every playthrough.
